The Last 5 Years is a powerful musical that ingeniously chronicles the five-year life of a marriage, from meeting to break-up; or from break-up to meeting, depending on how you look at it. It is an intensely personal look at the relationship between Jamie Wellerstein, a rising novelist, and Cathy Hiatt, a struggling actress, from both of their points of view—his going forward, and hers going back. This Drama Desk Award-winning musical explores the surprising, enlightening, and sometimes hard truths we all face in a romantic relationship, and explores the true meaning of love.

Meet the Cast
DANNY ARNOLD (Jamie Wellerstein) is beyond excited to be playing one of his dream roles in The Last 5 Years. Danny was last seen on the 4th Wall stage in Hands on a Hardbody (Benny Perkins). Past credits include Parade (Leo Frank) at 4th Wall Theatre, Tick Tick Boom (Michael) at Skyline Theatre Company, Company (Bobby), and Godspell (Judas). Also, Danny has recently performed in two brand new musicals: Valencia and Campbell's The Great American Whoopee (David) and Maglione and Ruiz's Wendy's Shadow (Captain Hook) at NYMF. When Danny is not on stage, he teaches in the Mount Arlington Public School District.
MADELINE FANSLER (Catherine Hiatt) moved to New York City after graduating from Vanderbilt University with a degree in theatre and music. Originally from Telluride, Colorado, she is thrilled to be working with this incredible company again. Previous 4th Wall credits include Dot/Marie in Sunday in the Park with George and Lucy T. Slut in Avenue Q. Other recent credits include Velma Kelly in Chicago with CPS Productions, Trix the Aviatrix in The Drowsy Chaperone at The Ozark Actor’s Theatre, and Tonya in the new musical Hit Her With The Skates.
