You're invited to join us for a
SEASON ON THE EDGE
Our 2013-2014 Season!

Verb: "to live on the edge (third-person singular simple present: lives on the edge, present participle: living on the edge, simple past and past participle: lived on the edge)"

Iidiomatic:  "To have an adventurous or perilous lifestyle; to behave in a manner which creates risks for oneself."

Our shows in season 17 are all joined by the risks the characters take. Join us in September when we see a group of 20-somethings live on the "edge of something new" as they create a new musical in [title of show]. In February, we present Sondheim's classic Sunday in the Park with George in Concert, in which we meet a man on the "edge of genius." We close out the season living literally on the "edge of edginess" with the irreverent Avenue Q.

Come on and join us on the edge! You know you want to!

AVENUE Q

Music and lyrics by Robert Lopez & Jeff Marx
Book by Jeff Whitty

June 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15 of 2014

Princeton, a new college graduate, can’t afford to live anywhere but Avenue Q, a city neighborhood where reality includes a mix of human and puppet neighbors, like Sesame Street. Unlike Sesame Street, however, life for the residents of Avenue Q is full of grown-up obsessions and problems, uncertain outcomes, and extreme irony; the search for purpose is a difficult one. The show is definitely rated R for language, full puppet nudity, and the inclusion of adult themes such as racism, pornography, homosexuality, and schadenfreude, not to mention Gary Coleman!
